Zabrina Barteaux
Zabrina has been a horse lover and involved in horse care for over 40 years, starting with learning to ride and care for ranch horses in the Rocky Mountains of Northern British Columbia. Eventually her passion for horses steered Zabrina into the English riding world, with lessons, clinics and horse shows being a huge part of her teen years. After spending years of working in boarding stables in various locations across Canada (and a year in Germany) Zabrina knew that what she truly loved the most was connecting with and caring for the horses, and that she had a great interest in health and well-being, and thus a new flame began to burn. The seed of melding her love for horses with her interest in the healing arts was planted, and a lifelong journey began.
Nowadays, Zabrina can be found in the Okanagan Valley of BC, usually in a barn with her hands on a horse. She has been practicing as a Certified Equine Massage Therapist since 2006, added people into the mix in 2010 with a multi- modality Holistic Practitioner Certificate, then graduated the Body Intelligence BCST program in 2018. Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy has become her favorite modality, and a special interest has developed in the equine digestive system.
Zabrina welcomes the opportunity to share her experience with horses and BCST.
